The Draw
In a clash between two light heavyweight contenders who have already had one chance at the UFC championship, No. 3-ranked Anthony Smith faces No. 8 Glover Teixeira. Smith lost to Jon Jones in his title opportunity in March 2019, but rebounded with a submission convert Alexander Gustafsson but three months later.

He’s been out of action for nearly a year, addressed multiple reschedulings of his next bout, and been a victim of a housebreaking.
It’s been a rough year for Smith, but a victory over Teixeira would keep him positioned to remain within striking distance of anyone who is holding the crown.

Teixeira faced and fell to Jones back in April 2014. Since the defeat, and a loss in his next fight to Phil Davis, Teixeira has gone 8-3 which includes his current three-fight win streak.

A victory over Smith would vault Teixeira back to the highest 5, and put him on the brink of what would probably be his final chance at UFC gold–at least as a light-weight heavyweight.

The Co-Main Event
After spending his entire UFC career fighting as a light-weight heavyweight, Ovince Saint Preux is moving up. OSP’s first test at heavyweight comes against one among the most important of all the giants.

Ben Rothwell may be a massive and powerful man coming off a controversial victory over Stefan Struve in his last fight, and two losses prior. The veteran heavyweight must keep winning to justify his spot on the roster.

OSP should have a serious advantage in speed and explosiveness, but Rothwell’s size and grappling ability are nothing to require lightly.

This is an intriguing fight because Rothwell will compete with desperation and it'll be interesting to ascertain how well OSP carries the additional weight.

Dober vs. Hernandez Has Fight-of-the-Night Potential

After getting off to a quick start in his career, Alex Hernandez was humbled by a one-sided beatdown at the hands of Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in January 2019. He rebounded from the loss with a unanimous-decision convert Francisco Trinaldo in July 2019. He’ll attempt to keep the wins flowing on Wednesday, but his opponent is on his own roll.

Dober has been on a tear. He has scored back-to-back first-round KO victories over Polo Reyes and Nasrat Haqparast. Moreover, Dober has been in outstanding shape physically, and he appears as focused as ever.

Hernandez is ranked No. 15, and Dober wants variety next to his name. Expect a physical and spirited battle which may steal the show on Wednesday night.

Philipe Lins Makes UFC Debut
Former 2018 Professional Fighters League champion Philipe Lins makes his UFC debut against former UFC Heavyweight Champion and current gatekeeper Andrei Arlovski. The Brazilian referred to as Monstro smashed his way through Alex Nicholson, Caio Alencar, Jared Rosholt, and John Copeland on the way to an undefeated run and therefore the title.
